Welcome
to the 2006 HSF Anniversary Tour. |
|
For over a decade, the New Mexico Alliance for Hispanic Education has generated over $3,000,000 for our state's highest achievers, fueled in part by the pinnacle of tournament golf series in New Mexico. Hosted by Pepsi and Budweiser, we welcome Wal-Mart to our corporate family of major sponsors investing in the future of New Mexico through the education of our youth. New lodging venues and special activities coupled with more time between events, will make the 20th Anniversary the best series in our twenty year history of fundraising. The Tour kicks off with the 10th Annual Charity Golf Tournament June 8-10, at the Sagebrush Inn & Conference Center, conveniently located just minutes from Taos Country Club. A few weeks later, golfers from around the country make their annual trek to the mountains and the Angel Fire Invitational, July 27-29. Escape the city and beat the heat at 8500 feet with nonstop activities for the entire family. Chair lift, wagon and horseback rides along with trout fishing, and the mountain bar-b-que sponsored by our longtime supporters at East Moreno Ranch, makes this high country outing a favorite among golfers and a sure sellout. Tour 2006 finishes with a touch of class featuring a true golfer's event taking place on August 29th with the return of "The Classic" at Las Campanas. Regarded by many as the finest one-day outing in the state, "The Classic" delivers golfers an outstanding challenge trying to conquer the Jack Nicklaus designed masterpiece. The tournament features numerous hole contests and the competitive camaraderie enjoyed throughout the golf series. Proceeds raised by the New Mexico Alliance for Hispanic Education for Tour 2006 will benefit the Hispanic Scholarship Fund.
