Only one player per team may carry a handicap of 9 or lower. USGA or Sun Country handicap INDEX required or handicap will need to be confirmed with Tournament Director prior to the event. The Taos Charity Golf Tournament will offer 3 days/2 nights of deluxe and convenient lodging, just 10 minutes from the course at the Sagebrush Inn & Comfort Inn & Suites. $20,000 in prizes including premium tee packet, golf, meals, transportation, auction and much more! NEW THIS YEAR-Expanded guest and womens activities. Wine tastings, SPA treatment, receptions at select Art Galleries and Shops around Taos. Luncheon at El Monte Sagrado, whitewater rafting & more Live music for Thursday night’s BBQ. Sumptuous dinner and live music in addition to a silent and live auction are scheduled for Friday evening in the spacious Sagebrush Inn & Conference Center. Private lodging has been reserved for players and guests participating in the Taos Charity Golf Tournament. Lodging property at either the Sagebrush Inn or Comfort Inn will be selected on a first come basis upon availability. GOLF FORMAT: Modified Scramble-On Par 4’s & 5’s each player tees off and group will select the best tee shot and play the second shot. After selecting the best second shot, each player plays their own ball into the hole. On par 3’s, after the best tee shot is selected, each player plays their own ball into the hole. 2 scores per hole will be recorded. Double bogey is the highest score that can be recorded. Each player must contribute 2 tee shots to the group’s daily effort. 20% of the combined team handicap will be deducted from the total combined score daily. Only ONE player may carry a single digit handicap. After the first days play, field will be broken into 3 flights and 3 places will be paid.
